600 miles of Yard Sale

Continuing our route after returning to Kissimmee we participated in the World's Longest Yard Sale and it is something really amazing...you can find literally everything from the clothes the babies and kids have outgrown, new things, old things, rare and unique items, collectables, small things like jewelry to big rigs like boats, vintage cars, bicycles, old wood boogies and, of course, some junk, as well...

The route of this yard sale starts "officially" in the town of Gadsden- Alabama, and ends in Hudson - Michigan, comprising over 600 miles of yard sale going through Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio  and Michigan and most of it following Hwy 127, passing by very interesting and unique places since 127 passes through several small towns.

We personally enjoy this kind of "tourism" in which you travel the byroads and not using the Interstates and where you can really experience small town life and meet ordinary people. And one can find anything he imagines on sale but it is not possible for us to buy much since most of the things are impossible to take home with us. But we did buy a vintage pedal car for our granddaughters and this year we bought a tricycle for them...something to keep grandpa Daniel busy restoring...and bought some items for decoration, as well. Even not buying a whole lot, it is worth to check it out for the interesting places and people you have the chance to come across.

Check out the pictures, this time we went from Georgia up until Kentucky.

Alaska is such a wonderful destination for tourists. It has meaningful attractions to explore and have an offensive time. I like its parks, lakes and glaciers.
