No segundo dia em que estivemos aqui houve um "Luau" na praia do camping.
On the second day here there was a "Luau" at the resort's beach.

Ao fundo se ve parte da estrutura da ferrovia, que foi posteriormente aumentada com duas "maos francesas" e se transformou em estrada para automoveis...
In the rear one can see part of what used to be the railroad which was afterwards "enlarged" and became the Overseas Highway.

Observem a clareza e a pouca profundidade da agua, fato que facilitou a construcao das pilastras da ferrovia.
Note how clear and shallow the water is, this aspect made it easier to build the base for the railroad.
